Hilton Hotels & Resorts (known like Hilton Hotels) is a leading company of luxury hotels. It was founded in 1919 by Conrad Hilton in Texas (USA) and Mobley Hotel in Cisco (Texas) was its first property.
The company has more than 550 hotels in more than 80 countries worldwide, and it has business associations with airlines and car rentals.
Fun facts? In one of those hotels, in Caribe Hilton Hotel in San Juan (Puerto Rico), Piña Colada was invented. Another one: in one of those hotels, in New York Hilton, Martin Cooper made the first call by a mobile phone in April, 3rd 1973.
It has currently different hotels’ brands, all of them under control of Hilton Hotels & Resort, but everyone with different things:
- Canoply by Hilton. It is a new hotel that secures a positive stay, with simple pleasures. It is different to the others hotels: you can enjoy delicious food and drinks 24 hours per day, 7 days per week…It is in Reykjavik (Island).
- Conrad Hotels & Resorts. A new generation of hotels for a new generation of guests who are looking for an intelligent luxury. There are 24 hotels in 18 countries, the nearest one to Spain is in Portuguese Algarve.
- Curio by Hilton. A collection of independent hotels characterized by the individuality. All of them are in America but one is in Hamburg (Germany).
- DoubleTree by Hilton. One of the most exclusive collection of the company. Every details of those hotels are special and they are thought for pleasing the guest. There are more than 465 hotels in 40 countries, the nearest one is only some meters far away from you home in Reserva del Higueron, in the same neighborhood.
- Embassy Suites by Hilton. Suites of 2 rooms with personalized breakfasts every morning and free drinks every afternoons…for all their guests. There are 223 hotels in America.
- Hampton by Hilton. Hotels adapted to the local culture, with a quality service. There are more than 2100 hotels worldwide, but not yet in Spain.
- Hilton Garden Inn. Luxury hotels but more cheaper. They have welcoming spaces and high level facilities. There are 686 hotels in 30 countries. In Malaga, 20 km far away from our luxury homes in Costa del Sol, there is one.
- Hilton Grand Vacations. Hotels focused for holidays stays. There are 44 hotels in USA and Europe, the nearest to us is in Portugal.
- Homewood Suites by Hilton. They are perfect hotels for long stays because the rooms have complete kitchen and fridge. There are 365 hotels in USA, Canada and Central America.
- Suistes Home2 by Hilton. A second home, medium category hotels that are perfect for long stays with gym, laundry room and you can stay there with your pet! There are 68 hotels in USA, Canada and Central America.
- Tru by Hilton. Simples and funny hotels cheaper.
- Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts. They are adapted to each country where they are. There are 26 hotels in 12 countries, but not in Spain.
DoubleTree by Hilton Resorts & Spa Reserva del Higueron is in the same neighborhood that the houses of Reserva del Higueron, at Avenida del Higuerón, 48.
It is a hotel perfect for adults, they recommend not to enter children under 16 years old, so the rest and peace are best.
